What is an organic search?

Organic search is a method for entering one or a plurality of search items in a single data string into a search engine. Organic search results are listings on search engine results pages that appear because of their relevance to the search terms, as opposed to their being advertisements.

Before going details on Organic traffic first you should know types of traffic. There are four types of Traffic:

How To Get Organic Traffic By Optimize Website?

There are many factors that govern a successful SEO Campaign, some are listed below:

1. Use keywords

That’s the fundamental of SEO : Keywords. They are the ones that will allow you to appear in top of certain searches, depending on those very keywords. You can use Google Trends to analyse wich keywords are popular to select those that can potentially be the most useful to you.

2.Careful Keywords Research

The keywords tell both site visitors and search engines what the topic of your site or a particular web page is, so it is
necessary to compile a list of the most commonly searched keywords in your niche by using some keywords search tools. Besides, always remember that you need to strategically scatter the keywords throughout your content, especially the headings which have greater chances to be crawled than the surrounding text.

3. Keyword insertion throughout your post

Now that you know what keywords are and how they work, you have to put them everywhere on your website! Use them with moderation though, don’t let them pollute your content.

4. Backlinks

Backlinks refers to links that allows you to redirect readers to one page of your site. There are two types of backlinks : Internal backlinks and External backlinks.

Internal backlinks:

Those are links that redirect the readers from one of your pages to another one of your pages. Largely used in blogs, you must have spotted them in the shape of “Related article” links.

External backlinks :

Another thing that needs to be changed is the structure of permalinks because these links are inefficient URL structure for SEO. Thus, altering the permalinks to the name of Posts is commonly the best practice

One of the most important aspects of a high ranking website is the content. Although you are able to fool the search
engines for a while, nobody wants to visit your site or web pages if your content is of low quality. Conversely, if your
content is compelling and well written, then site visitors is going to read it and may even want to direct other people to your sites via blog posts, forums, and some social medias like Twitter and Facebook. The only thing in this part that people need to pay attention to is that your content is written for your readers, not only the search engines. We mean your content need to be informative and interesting, without inserting numerous unnecessary keywords to grab search spider’s attention. To be frank, excessive use of keywords can be quite annoying to site visitors.

7. META Titles and Descriptions:

I cannot stress the importance of having relevant META titles and META descriptions as this is what allows Google bots to link your content to any relevant search.

If the META title and description is missing Google will take some content randomly from your website and populate the fields. This is obviously bad as the content is taken at random and will without a doubt be irrelevant to the keyword(s) you are trying to rank for.

On page SEO also involves making the correct use of H1, H2, H3 tags etc, most people just use H1 tags for all sub topics, this is wrong and is akin to keyword stuffing albeit with the tags.

11. Content Promotion:

Promote the content better and utilize more avenues of marketing, ie if your competitor(s) have under utilized some
marketing platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Quora, Reddit, StumbleUpon etc, then focus on leveraging those under utilized platforms.

12. Speed and Mobile Friendly:

A whopping 75% stated that they would not re-visit a website if it didn’t load in under 4 seconds!!, that is 4 seconds to a fully rendered and usable website.

Also from an SEO perspective we are seeing more and more website being penalized and demoted for not being mobile friendly and slow.

13. Link Building:

I know many of the answers advocate link building and this is certainly true to an extent with regards to search engine positioning.

However it’s important to understand that not all back links are created equal. Your focus should solely be on building high quality reciprocal back links and basing decisions on quality and not quantity.

journalists are always looking for stories in many fields, and a startup in their area of expertise would be a perfect fit
for a story.

15. Content Marketing:

A killer 2000/3000+ ultimate guide in a popular topic within your niche. Combine this with a loss leading e-book to capture emails for automated marketing down the line. You can use something like Tweet or Like to unlock the e-book depending on your Social Media goals.

16. Social Media Promotion: Use all available avenues, use Quu Promote, run competitions on Facebook, paid likes etc, also utilize Reddit, StumbleUpon, Quora, etc, the more the merrier, however don’t spam, make sure the content you are sharing is
either funny or useful.

17. Guest Post Blogging:

Guest post blogging is a great way to reach a new audience and raise brand awareness. As a link building strategy guest blogging can still work but remember to do your due diligence and only form a reciprocal relationship with high quality blogs.

Again make sure they don’t spam but genuinely become part of that community.
